You see the ‘Food Grows..’ slogan on billboards around the area – as they are very aware that the irrigation is what makes their livelihoods possible.

If you live in Mexico, south of here, you probably hate the US for stealing almost all of the water out of the Colorado River!

When you look at the area from satellite using IR – you can see the well watered vegetation (Red areas) – and the boarder is as clear as day as there’s almost no irrigation to the south!
